  • ^ Ife Festival of the Arts, May 2005, with focus on Gelede
  • ^Ife Festival of the Arts, April 2008, entitled: Masks, Masquerades and Marionettes
  • ^ International Conference on “Migration and Settlement Patterns in Yoruba land” in Memory of  Late Professor (Emeritus) Isaac Adeagbo Akinjogbin, 11th – 14th March, 2010. The Institute collaborated with the Centre for Black and African Arts and Civilisation (CBAAC).
  • ^ Talking Drum Festival, May-June 2010 in collaboration with Ayan Agalu Sogunbi Foundation
  • ^Yoruba Group Project Abroad (YGPA) 2005-2011. In this summer programme, students from different Universities in the USA are taken through a seven-week intensive course in Yoruba Language and culture.
  • ^ Life and Times of Twins Seven Seven, 22nd September, 2011. The programme was organised in memory of late Chief Taiwo Olaniyi, a. k. a. Twins Seven Seven, a painter, dancer, musician and dramatist who was a leading figure in the Osogbo School of arts. It featured an art exhibition that was declared open by the Orangun of Oke-Ila, HRH Oba Dokun Abolarin Aroyinkeye. There was also a symposium at the Pit Theatre on “Life and Times of Twins Seven Seven”. Speakers include: Chief Muraina Oyelami, Chief
  • Jimoh Buraimo, Chief Yemi Elebuibon, Mrs. Margaret Oyin Adejobi and Late Dr Eben Sheba, a scholar of Fine and Applied Art.    
  • There were also drama, dance, musical and magical performances from Dramatic Arts Department and a Cultural Troupe from Ile Ife city. 
  • ^ Literary Reading Session featuring Dr. Wale Okediran former President of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) and Writer of Tenants of the House - 26th October, 2011.

^ 2012 Africa World Documentary Film Festival, 2nd to 5th May, 2012. It was organised in collaboration with the African/African American Studies and International Studies Programmes of the University of Missouri, St. Louis, USA. That was the first time of the Festival in Nigeria. About 30 films were exhibited during the programme, all of them representing Africans’ experiences of the world in the past and now. There were films from the continent and other parts of the world including Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania, Benin Republic, USA, UK, Germany, Canada, Netherlands and so on.
